Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned Nushki incident and sought a report.
The premier also expressed condolences over the deaths and said that the terrorists and their facilitators would be brought to justice.
In the early hours of Saturday, at least 11 people were shot dead by unknown assailants in two separate terror incidents in Balochistan’s Nushki district on Saturday.
“About 10-12 gunmen blockaded the Quetta-Taftan Highway N-40 in the vicinity of Sultan Charhai near Noshki and abducted nine passengers from a bus,” Deputy Commissioner Habibullah Musakhel told the media.
The police launched a search operation for the abductees, however, their bodies were found under the bridge near a hill. All of them belonged to Punjab were shot dead, he added.
Nushki Teaching Hospital MS Dr Zafar Mengal said the murdered men had been shot in various parts of their bodies.
In another incident, two people were gunned down while three others sustained injuries, said the police.
