Islamabad (Web Desk): The District and Sessions Court in Islamabad has ordered that Hasan Zahid, accused in the abduction attempt and murder threat case involving young TikToker Samia Hijab, be sent to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
During proceedings before Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mahmood Chaudhry, the police requested a five-day physical remand to further investigate, but the court instead directed that the accused be placed under judicial custody.
Hasan Zahid is facing charges registered at Shalimar Police Station for allegedly trying to abduct Samia Hijab outside her residence. Samia has also accused him of threatening to kill her.
In a video statement, Samia disclosed that Hasan Zahid was her former fiancé and that their engagement had ended prior to these incidents.
