Dry weather prevails nationwide, cold snap to intensify in hills

Islamabad  (Web Desk): The Meteorological Department has forecast dry weather across most of Pakistan today, with cold conditions continuing in the mountainous regions.

According to the forecast, smog is expected in the plains of Punjab, along with light fog in some areas during the morning and evening. Islamabad and other plains will remain dry and cold, while Murree and Galyat are also expected to experience dry and cold weather.

Dry and cold conditions are predicted for most districts of Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan. Similarly, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to remain cold and dry.

In the past 24 hours, the weather remained dry across most of the country, with a noticeable drop in temperature in the mountainous areas. Light fog and smog affected the weather in some plains of Punjab.
