Karachi (Web Desk): Pakistan’s Stock Market ended the trading week on a sharp decline, as selling pressure prevented the KSE-100 Index from sustaining its recent highs.

During today’s session, the index experienced a continuous fall, losing a total of 1,437 points, and closed at 154,421 points.

In comparison, the index had closed at a record high of 155,858 points in the previous trading session.

According to market sources, profit-taking dominated investor behavior from the start of the day, pushing the index below the psychological 155,000-point level.

Significant declines were observed in major sectors, including cement, fertilizer, and banking, contributing to the overall negative sentiment in the market.
