Islamabad (Staff Report/Agencies): The Supreme Court on Thursday asked the federal government to submit reply on the privatisation of Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM).
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Gulzar Ahmed heard a case pertaining to the privatisation of PSM.
During the hearing, the CJP remarked that the mills have been closed since 2015 and the employees are still receiving their salaries, adding that the government is paying billions annually.
