Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Friday after witnessing a significant drop over the previous two days.
During the last two trading sessions, the price of gold had fallen by a combined Rs22,347 per tola.
However, the market reversed course today, with gold gaining Rs7,250 per tola, taking the new price to Rs439,966 per tola.
The rate of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs6,525, reaching Rs375,947.
In the international market, gold prices rose by $72 per ounce, pushing the global rate to $4,175 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved upward in the local market. The price of silver increased by Rs190 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs7,079 per tola.
