Abu Dhabi (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a significant meeting with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, and other senior officials.
The discussions centered around strengthening bilateral relations, enhancing economic cooperation, and exploring new avenues for investment and development projects.
In addition to bilateral issues, regional and international matters were reviewed, culminating in a mutual agreement to expand economic partnerships further.
PM Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to the UAE leadership for their ongoing support in Pakistan’s developmental initiatives and commended Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed’s efforts towards promoting global peace and stability.
The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepening collaboration aimed at fostering peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
Earlier today, PM Shehbaz arrived in Abu Dhabi on one-day official visit to United Arab Emirates.
On arrival, he was received by UAE's National Security Advisor Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The prime minister was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
According to the Foreign Office (FO), a wide range of bilateral, regional, and global issues of mutual interest and concern will be discussed during the high-level interactions.
The FO statement added that prime minister’s visit will serve to further strengthen the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE, deepen economic ties, and foster multifaceted collaboration.
