Islamabad (Staff Report): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Monday that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should step down prior to his appearance before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on Thursday.
“The PM should resign before Thursday as he is facing a criminal investigation on the charges of money laundering and tax evasion,” Khan said.
On Sunday, The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) tasked to probe Sharif family’s offshore assets in line with the apex court’s April 20 verdict in the Panama case summoned Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday, June 15 at 11am.
