Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government has once again raised petroleum prices, increasing the cost of petrol by Rs3.05 per litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs5.37 per litre from Friday, September 11, 2026.
The latest adjustment marks the fourth consecutive increase in fuel prices.
With the latest revision, petrol has become Rs24.93 per litre more expensive over the past four days, while the price of diesel has climbed by Rs19.99 per litre during the same period.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Energy’s Petroleum Division, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products on Thursday under the government’s existing fuel pricing mechanism.
Following the adjustment, the price of petrol has increased from Rs367.75 to Rs370.80 per litre, reflecting a rise of Rs3.05.
Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel has gone up by Rs5.37 per litre, rising from Rs392.67 to Rs398.04 per litre.
The revised rates will remain applicable until Friday, as the government continues its practice of reviewing petroleum prices in line with fluctuations in international oil markets and other relevant cost factors.
