Lahore (Web Desk): Earthquake tremors were felt in Layyah district of Punjab and Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, causing panic among local residents.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5 on the Richter scale.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located 50 kilometers away from Layyah and at a depth of 20 kilometers. As soon as the tremors were felt, people rushed out of their homes and recited "Kalma Tayyiba" in fear.
Authorities have stated that there have been no reports of casualties or property damage as of now. However, they have advised the public to remain cautious and take necessary precautions.
