Officials stated that the Kingdom reserves the right to take all necessary measures to defend against any threats or aggression.
During the meeting, the cabinet highlighted the effectiveness of Saudi Arabia’s advanced air defense system, which successfully intercepted and neutralized recent attempts to target vital installations, including energy facilities.
The system’s performance was described as a demonstration of the Kingdom’s readiness to protect its territory and civilian population.
Saudi Arabia strongly condemned recent Iranian attacks, asserting that targeting civilian sites and oil facilities constitutes a blatant violation of international law.
The cabinet expressed deep concern over the regional security situation and reiterated that such acts of aggression threaten stability in the Gulf and the wider Middle East.
The meeting also praised the unified stance taken against Iranian hostility by Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) members, the Arab League, and the European Union.
