Pakistan secures another spot LNG cargo to meet energy needs

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan has secured another spot cargo of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to meet its energy requirements.

According to Pakistan LNG Limited (PLL), three bids were received for the supply of the LNG cargo scheduled for delivery from July 15 to 16.

PLL said the lowest bid among the submitted offers was approved after evaluation.

The company stated that the successful bid was received at a price of $18.23 per MMBTU, while the other two bids were quoted at $18.59 and $18.72 per MMBTU, respectively.

The latest LNG purchase is part of efforts to ensure a steady gas supply and meet the country’s growing energy needs.
