Islamabad (Web Desk): The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecasted cold and dry weather for Islamabad and most parts of the country today.
According to the weather department, a severe cold wave will continue in the mountainous regions, while smog is likely to persist in the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh.
The weather is expected to remain extremely cold in Islamabad, Murree, Galiyat, and most districts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Balochistan. Similarly, cold weather is also anticipated in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
The weather department also indicated that dense fog is likely to affect Lahore, Sialkot, Narowal, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Jhelum, Sahiwal, Multan, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, Rohri, Ghotki, Larkana, Mohenjo Daro, Peshawar, Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Nowshera, and Dera Ismail Khan.
