Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with his Indonesian counterpart, during which the two sides agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation between Pakistan and Indonesia across various fields.

During the telephonic discussion, the two foreign ministers exchanged views on the prevailing regional situation and discussed a range of important regional and global developments.

The ministers also discussed recent contacts between the United States and Iran, along with other matters of mutual interest and key international issues.

The Indonesian foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting peace and stability in the region, describing Islamabad’s efforts as commendable.

Both sides expressed their commitment to maintaining close coordination and regular contact on issues of mutual interest.

They also reaffirmed their resolve to further enhance cooperation between Pakistan and Indonesia in important areas and explore opportunities for strengthening bilateral engagement.

The telephone conversation reflects the two countries’ continued efforts to deepen their longstanding relationship and enhance coordination on regional and international matters of common interest.
