Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent Israeli airstrike in Gaza, which claimed numerous civilian casualties, calling it "a blatant violation of international humanitarian and human rights law."

In a statement on Monday, Foreign Office (FO) Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said in a statement on Monday, "We express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and reaffirm Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people during this period of profound suffering."

He described the attack as "an egregious act that highlights the scale and severity of crimes committed by the occupying power," and urged the international community to "take immediate and decisive action to end Israeli impunity, ensure the protection of civilians, and hold Israel accountable for its actions."

Ambassador Khan also reiterated, "Pakistan remains steadfast in its support for the Palestinian cause, advocating for a just, sustainable, and peaceful resolution in line with United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions."

"There is a pressing need for the establishment of an independent, sovereign, viable, and contiguous Palestinian state based on the pre-June 1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital," the FO spokesperson stated.,
