Tehran (Web Desk): Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that the high-level Iranian delegation participating in Islamabad Talks is acting in the best interests of Iran.
In a statement, he said that the Iranian delegation will negotiate with courage, adding that the government’s services for the people will not stop even for a moment.
Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron held a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Macron later said that they discussed the Islamabad peace talks during the call.
Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghaddam, also posted on X (formerly Twitter), stating that Islamabad has become a center of goodwill efforts aimed at helping end what he described as an “illegal war” against the Iranian nation.
He further questioned whether the United States would respect the mediation efforts and goodwill services being provided.
He added that this is a conflict which he described as not only an open crime against the Iranian nation and its civilization but also a threat to regional and global security.
