Qatari PM condemns Israeli strike on Doha as 'state terrorism', vows strong response

Doha (Web Desk): Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani has denounced the recent Israeli strike on Doha as an act of “blatant state terrorism,” vowing that his country will deliver a strong and effective response.

Speaking at his first press conference following the attack, the Qatari premier stressed that Israel has been clearly warned that this incident will not be ignored.

He underlined that Qatar will not restrict itself to issuing condemnations but will take firm action on both political and legal fronts. For this purpose, a team of legal experts is being set up to hold Israel accountable at the international level.

Sheikh Mohammed described the strike as a turning point, emphasizing that the time has come for regional countries to respond decisively to such aggressive measures. He warned that this act has destabilized not only Qatar but the entire region.

He further revealed that the attack took place while Hamas representatives in Doha were reviewing U.S. proposals aimed at achieving a ceasefire in Gaza. According to him, Israel deliberately attempted to sabotage this peace effort through its strike.

It is worth mentioning that in recent days Israel carried out an air raid on the Qatari capital, targeting senior leadership of the Palestinian group Hamas.
