Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Security forces have killed 20 khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy, Fitna al Khwarij in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the military’s media wing said on Monday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence-based (IBO) operation was conducted by Security Forces in general area Shawal, North Waziristan.
"During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location and sent eight Indian-sponsored Khwarij to hell," the statement said.
It added that another IBO operation was conducted in Dara Adam Khel district and after an intense fire exchange, 12 Khwarij were effectively neutralized.
Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area.
"A relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision "Azm e Istehkam" (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) continues at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” the ISPR said.
