Lahore (Web Desk): The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will resume its long march to Islamabad today (Thursday), from the place in Wazirabad where it halted after a gun attack on party chief and former premier Imran Khan on November 3.
Sharing the further plan on Twitter, former minister and PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said that Imran Khan will address party supporters at 4:30pm via a video link.
He said that the march will be at its starting point at 3pm and will begin from the same place where their chairman was attacked.
On November 7, PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi had announced that the party will resume its long march from Wazirabad on Thursday (November 10).
He said this while speaking to workers at Imran Khan's residence in Lahore's Zaman Park.
This was the third time that the PTI had changed the date of the long march.
Earlier, it was announced that the march will be resumed on Tuesday, November 8 but later the date was changed to Wednesday, November 9.
In a tweet, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry had announced that the party’s long march to Islamabad will resume from Wednesday at 2pm from Wazirabad.

PTI Senator Faisal Javed, party leaders Umar Dar and Ahmed Chattah, were also among the people injured in the incident while a citizen, identified as 42-year-old Moazzam, died on the spot.
