Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan have once again witnessed a sharp increase. According to the Sindh Sarafa Bazaar Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs. 3,200 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs. 354,700.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs. 2,744, now standing at Rs. 304,700.
On the international front, gold also saw an upward trend. The global market price for gold increased by $32 per ounce, reaching $3,324.
It's worth noting that just a day earlier, the gold price in the local market had dropped by Rs. 3,000, while on Tuesday, there had been an increase of Rs. 1,500. The frequent fluctuations in prices have caused uncertainty among both consumers and investors.
Experts attribute these changes to international market dynamics, the value of the US dollar, and shifting investor sentiment amid global economic concerns.
