Gold price increases by Rs4,000 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold price saw a significant rise recently, with the cost of 24-karat gold per tola surging by Rs4,000, reaching Rs303,000. This increase followed a previous trading day price of Rs299,000.

According to reports from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (ASSJA), the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs3,429, now standing at Rs259,773.

Meanwhile, 22-karat gold also saw an uptick, with its price for 10 grams rising to Rs238,133 from Rs234,990.

Silver prices also experienced an upward shift. The per tola price increased by Rs43, pushing the cost to Rs3,373, while the price for 10 grams went up by Rs37, reaching Rs2,891.

In contrast, the global gold market reflected a decline, with the international price of gold falling by $42, bringing it down to $2,903 from $2,861.
