Quetta (Web Desk): Security forces killed five India-backed terrorists, including a senior commander, during an intelligence-driven operation in Panjgur district of Balochistan, Radio Pakistan quoting the security sources, reported on Monday.
According to the security sources, the targeted action was carried out in the Sarkini and Chedgi areas under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-3, as part of ongoing security efforts against militant elements operating in the province.
The state boradcaster, citing the security sources, reported that the security forces launched the intelligence-based operation (IBO) against Fitna al Hindustan terrorists in the two areas.
Five terrorists were eliminated during the operation, including a key commander identified as Wazir.
Following the operation, security personnel recovered four motorcycles along with machine guns, heavy weapons and ammunition from the possession of the militants.
The terrorists were involved in a range of criminal and violent activities in Panjgur, including robberies, extortion and kidnappings.
The killed terrorists were involved in robbery, extortion, kidnapping and terrorist activities targeting local traders and other people in Panjgur.
