PSL 11: Quetta Gladiators defeat Rawalpindi by 61 runs

Karachi (Web Desk): In the 18th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11, Quetta Gladiators defeated the Rawalpindi team by 61 runs to secure an important victory.

The match was played at the National Stadium Karachi, where Rawalpindi won the toss and opted to field first. Batting first, Quetta Gladiators posted 182/6 in their 20 overs.

For Quetta, Rilee Rossouw top-scored with 53 runs, while Saud Shakeel contributed 42 and Hasan Nawaz added 39 runs. Jahandad Khan remained unbeaten on 21 runs.

From Rawalpindi’s bowling side, Ben Sears took 3 wickets, Mohammad Amir claimed 2 wickets, and Mubasir Khan picked up 1 wicket.

Chasing 183, Rawalpindi’s batting lineup collapsed under pressure and were bowled out for 121 runs.

Saad Masood scored 31 and Daryl Mitchell made 30, but no other batter managed to reach double figures.

Quetta’s bowlers also delivered a strong performance, with Jahandad, Usman Tariq, and Saud Shakeel taking 2 wickets each, while Kashif Bhatti and Abrar Ahmed picked up 1 wicket each.

With this win, Quetta Gladiators registered their second victory of the tournament, while Rawalpindi continue to struggle with consecutive defeats.
