California (Web Desk): Meta, the parent company of Facebook, has announced significant changes to its platform’s algorithms and features aimed at giving users more control over the videos and content they see.

According to Meta, users can now use the “Not Interested” option on Reels videos to report content they do not like. This feature will help Facebook’s algorithm tailor content recommendations more accurately based on individual preferences.

The company has also improved the “Save” feature, allowing users to easily store their favorite Reels and posts in one place.

Meta stated that users’ news feeds will primarily display fresh videos uploaded within the last 24 hours. Additionally, AI-powered search suggestions have been integrated into Facebook Reels to help users discover more content on topics they enjoy.

Furthermore, a new feature called “Friend Bubbles” has been introduced, enabling users to see which posts their friends have liked and allowing direct messaging with friends within the app.

Meta emphasized that these updates are designed to provide a more personalized and engaging experience for Facebook users.
