Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday visited the newly established “Cascade” Police Service Centre, which has been set up to cater to the needs of the diplomatic community in Islamabad’s Diplomatic Enclave.

During the visit, the premier praised the creation of this modern service center, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for diplomats and foreign nationals.

PM Shehbaz commended the initiative by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, emphasizing its importance in enhancing the convenience of the diplomatic community.

“Our top priority is to ensure that the diplomatic community has access to all the necessary services they require,” the prime minister stated.

The Cascade Service Centre, located in the heart of Islamabad, is designed to meet international standards and provides a range of services tailored to the needs of foreign nationals.

These services include the issuance and renewal of driving licenses, character certificates, police verifications, registration of tenants and domestic workers, vehicle verification, reporting of lost items, and access to copies of First Information Reports (FIRs). The centre also offers services for foreigner registration and volunteer sign-ups.

On the occasion, the prime minister was briefed on the Centre's operations by the Inspector General of Islamabad Police, who provided details on the range of services being made available to diplomats and foreign nationals.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, as well as Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, accompanied PM Shehbaz during the visit.
