Islamabad (Staff Report): Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has accepted the invitation of the Saudi King, the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques to attend the upcoming US-Arab and Islamic Summit to be held in Riyadh, the PM’s Office said Tuesday.
According to details, American President Donald Trump will also join the meeting during his upcoming visit to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Adel Al Jubeir, the Kingdoms’s foreign minister stated that Trump’s visit will improve cordial ties between the United States and Muslim countries in the fight against extremism.
Adel Al Jubeir said while describing the visit as historic, Mr Trump’s time in Saudi Arabia would include a bilateral summit, a meeting with Arab Gulf leaders and another with leaders of Arab and Muslim countries.
Mr Al Jubeir said, “It also lays to rest the notion that America is anti-Muslim. It’s a very clear message to the world that the US and the Arab Muslim countries can form a partnership.”
