Kabul (Web Desk): Prominent Afghan politician and head of the National Resistance Front (NRF), Ahmad Massoud, has taken a firm stance against the current policies of the Taliban and their support for terrorist groups, warning the world of a major security threat emanating from Afghanistan.

Massoud stated that the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan is a direct consequence of the Taliban regime’s actions. He revealed that Afghanistan is no longer just a stronghold for the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP / Fitna al-Khawarij), but also hosts more than 20 international terrorist groups operating freely. He cautioned that history is repeating itself, just as Al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden were once harbored in the country.

In his statement, Massoud emphasized that today’s Afghanistan has become a living hell for its own citizens, while simultaneously serving as a safe haven for terrorists.

He further highlighted that the Taliban’s backing of terrorism and promotion of a “war economy” have made life unbearable for ordinary Afghans, fueling growing resentment against the regime.

Defense and political analysts have supported Massoud’s stance, noting that it is now undeniable that Afghanistan is being used as a launching pad for terrorist activities. Experts also stress that Afghan citizens are exhausted by the Taliban’s authoritarian and extremist governance.

The transformation of Afghanistan into a safe refuge for terrorists has become a serious threat not just to the region, but to global security.

Reaffirming his commitment, Ahmad Massoud declared that his struggle and opposition to the illegitimate Taliban regime will never waver, vowing to continue defending the Afghan people and resisting extremist control.
