Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday said that the long-standing, brotherly relationship between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), rooted in mutual trust, was steadily evolving into more meaningful economic ties and greater investment flows.

While speaking to a delegation from the UAE’s Sajwani Group, the prime minister said that recent exchanges at senior levels had helped build stronger confidence between the business communities of both countries, laying a firm groundwork for deeper cooperation.

PM Shehbaz highlighted the increasing interest of investors from the UAE in Pakistan’s digital sector, saying his government gives special attention to business-to-business collaboration in information technology, digital innovation, blockchain and other new-age technologies.

He further said that the recent visit of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan had given fresh momentum to the bilateral partnership and created a positive atmosphere for expanding collaboration.

The prime minister said that the UAE’s financial strength and international reach, combined with Pakistan’s skilled workforce and human capital, offered a promising formula for shared economic progress.

Members of the Sajwani Group thanked the prime minister for the gracious reception and renewed their pledge to expand investment links and economic cooperation.

PM Shehbaz, who also hosted a luncheon for the delegation, expressed confidence that with strong backing from the leadership of both nations, private-sector engagement would push Pakistan-UAE economic relations to a much higher level.
