Karachi (Web Desk): New Zealand set 256-run target for Pakistan in the first one-day international (ODI) in Karachi on Monday.
Naseem Shah grabbed his second five-wicket haul to help Pakistan restrict New Zealand to 255-9.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and decided to filed first against New Zealand.
Pakistan handed an ODI cap to 27-year-old leg-spinner Usama Mir, while New Zealand included all-rounder Henry Shipley, 26, for his first international.
