Riyadh (Web Desk): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman to review bilateral relations and the ways of enhancing the ties.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Prince Salman welcomed the army chief at the winter camp in Al-Ula earlier today (Monday).
The SPA also shared pictures of the crown prince’s reception for the army chief.
The state news agency reported that the reception was also attended by Saudi Arabia’s Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman and National Security Adviser Dr Musaed bin Muhammad al Aiban.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ameer Khurram and other officials were also present.
COAS Munir is on a week-long official visit to Saudi Arabia and UAE — the first since assuming charge as army chief— culminating on Jan 10.
