Gold price increases by Rs5,300, reaches to Rs524,762 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Monday saw a noticeable surge in gold prices across the local market. The rate of 24-karat gold per tola jumped by Rs5,300, reaching Rs524,762, as reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, 10 grams of 24-karat gold became costlier by Rs4,544, closing at Rs449,898, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold edged up by Rs4,165 to Rs412,421.

Silver also experienced gains, with 24-karat silver per tola climbing Rs346 to hit Rs8,615, and 10 grams of silver rising by Rs296 to reach Rs7,385.

Internationally, gold saw an increase of $53, settling at $5,020 per ounce, and silver advanced by $3.46 to $81.40 per ounce.
