Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, presided over a high-level meeting on Saturday to evaluate the progress of visa-related reforms introduced in 2024 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The initiatives, developed under his leadership, focus on improving the visa issuance system at Pakistan’s diplomatic missions abroad.
During the session, the Foreign Minister closely examined the developments made so far and issued instructions for further refinement of the procedures.
He called for increased efficiency, greater transparency, and simplified processes to facilitate smoother operations.
Special attention was directed toward accelerating visa services for overseas Pakistanis, especially those involved in investment and business activities.
Ina statement, the Foreign Office (FO) noted that the meeting also underscored the importance of ensuring that the new measures deliver tangible improvements for applicants while supporting Pakistan’s broader diplomatic and economic objectives.
