Foul language charges: ECP accepts apology of Imran, Khattak, Sadiq and Fazl

Islamabad (Staff Report): Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday accepted apologies of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Pervez Khattak, Ayaz Sadiq and Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman for using derogatory language against one another during their election campaigns.

As per details, all the leaders through their lawyers had already submitted their apologies to ECP in written forms. A four member bench headed by Chief Election Commissioners announced the reserved verdict of the cases and warned them to avoid using indecent language in future.

On this occasion Sardar Muhammad Raza played Ayaz Sadiq’s video clip, in which he said: “What is the value of ECP?” Chief Election Commissioners asked: “What is the value of Ayaz Sadiq now?” in respond, the lawyer of the former speaker once again apologized to ECP on the behalf of his client.
