Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold surged by Rs3,000, reaching Rs321,000 per tola on Wednesday, compared to the previous trading day’s price of Rs318,000.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs2,572, bringing it to Rs275,205, up from Rs272,633.
The value of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also saw a rise of Rs2,358, reaching Rs252,280 from Rs249,922.
On the other hand, silver prices remained stable, with per tola silver staying at Rs3,170 and the 10-gram rate holding steady at Rs2,717.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $30, climbing to $3,040 from $3,010, while silver prices remained unchanged at $30.30.
