Nawaz formally indicted after court rejects ousted PM’s plea to club graft references

Islamabad (Staff Report): The accountability court on Wednesday formally indicted former premier Nawaz Sharif in three graft references filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

Earlier, the court has ejected former premier Nawaz Sharif’s petition to club corruption references against Sharifs.

Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaw and son-in-law Capt (retd) Safdar arrived at the accountability court for a case hearing pertaining to NAB references against them.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz [PML-N] leaders Marriyum Aurangzeb, Talal Chaudhry and Tariq Fatemi are also present at the court.
