Makkah Mukarramah (Web Desk): As part of Hajj 2026 arrangements, a total of 48,388 Pakistani pilgrims travelling under the Government Hajj Scheme have reached Saudi Arabia so far through 192 flights operating from multiple cities across Pakistan.
This figure accounts for 41% of the country’s total government Hajj quota.
According to the Pakistan Hajj Mission in Jeddah, 134 of these flights landed in Madinah Munawara, while 58 arrived at Jeddah Airport. In addition to the government scheme, 9,368 pilgrims under the private Hajj arrangements have also completed their arrival in the Kingdom.
At present, the majority of the pilgrims, around 80% or 38,584 individuals, are staying in Makkah Mukarramah, while the remaining 20%, amounting to 9,804 pilgrims, are in Madinah Munawara.
To ensure proper facilitation and smooth services for the guests of Allah, a total of 1,073 welfare personnel have been deployed by the Pakistan Hajj Mission.
This staff includes 635 moavineen (assistants), 255 members of medical teams, 175 khuddam (SDS personnel), and 8 technical staff.
In terms of distribution, 951 staff members have been assigned duties in Makkah, 261 are serving in Madinah, and 21 personnel are stationed at Jeddah Airport to assist pilgrims upon arrival.
For transportation within Makkah Mukarramah, robust travel arrangements have been put in place.
A large fleet of buses and coasters is actively operating to provide pilgrims with convenient, timely, and comfortable access to the Holy Haram.
