Rawalpindi (Web Desk): At least four terrorists were been killed by security forces today in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in North Waziristan District, the military’s media wing stated on Friday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the conduct of operation, intense fire exchange took place between Pakistani troops and the terrorists.
It added that weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the killed terrorists who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
“Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area. Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism,” the ISPR said.
