Islamabad (Web Desk): Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy met Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Wednesday to discuss recent regional developments and bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the regional situation in the wake of the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the United States (US) and Iran and underlined the need to intensify coordinated efforts that encourage dialogue and diplomatic engagement.
The Saudi envoy commended Pakistan for its consistent contribution to promoting peace and stability in the region, particularly through the R-4 initiative, while also recognizing Islamabad’s pivotal role in facilitating the agreement reached under the Islamabad MoU.
The two leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to broadening and deepening Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations across all areas of mutual interest and cooperation.
