Lahore (Web Desk): An obese man Noor ul Hassan, a resident of Sadiqabad, passed away after a commotion erupted at Shalamar hospital in Lahore on Monday.
According to Noor ul Hassan’s doctor, Dr Maaz, a female patient died at the Shalamar Hospital today after which her relatives reached the hospital and expressed concern about her death.
As per the hospital officials, relatives of the female patient had broken windows, switched ventilators off and hit doctors. They said that nurses had left the ICU during the mayhem.
Hassan, weighing 330-kg, underwent successful surgery and was poised to reduce weight in a few months, however, he passed away at the hospital.
This is pertinent to mention that Noorul Hassan was air lifted on a Pakistan Army helicopter to Lahore for treatment on special directives from Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Noor ul Hassan 55, underwent successful surgery on June 28. His doctors had said that Hassan's life was out of danger following the surgery, and he would remain under observation at ICU for the next two days.
