Karachi (Web Desk): Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem continued his dominance in athletics by winning a gold medal at the 35th National Games in Karachi.
Arshad Nadeem threw an impressive 81.81 meters in the javelin throw event, securing the gold medal. Yaser Sultan claimed the silver, while Abrar from the Pakistan Army won the bronze.
During the competition, Arshad Nadeem made a total of three throws, with his best throw measuring 81.81 meters, which was enough to beat all competitors and take the top spot.
In other events, Pakistan Air Force athletes dominated the sailing competition at the National Games. In the Optimist Class Open, Pakistan Air Force’s Mohammad Suleman clinched the gold medal. In the team event, Pakistan Navy secured second place.
In the Optimist Girls’ event, Pakistan Air Force’s Tahseen Qazi won the gold medal, while in the ILCA Class 4, Josha from the Pakistan Air Force took the gold. In the women’s category, KP’s Aima Imran won the gold medal.
