Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appealed to US President Donald Trump to extend the deadline regarding the Iran issue by two weeks.

In a message shared on social media, the Prime Minister said that diplomatic efforts for a peaceful resolution in the Middle East are progressing rapidly, and concrete results are expected soon.

He urged President Trump to allow more time for diplomacy by extending the deadline by two weeks.

As a gesture of goodwill, Shehbaz Sharif also requested Iran to keep the Strait of Hormuz open for an additional two weeks.

The Prime Minister called on all parties to maintain a complete ceasefire during this period to ensure the success of diplomatic efforts and to pave the way for lasting peace and stability in the region.
