Graduation ceremony of various courses held at PAF Academy Asghar Khan

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): The Graduation Ceremony of 150th GD(P), 96th Engineering, 106th Air Defence, 26th A&SD, 9th Logistics and 132nd Combat Support Courses was held at Pakistan Airforce (PAF) Academy Asghar Khan in Risalpur, the military’s media wing said on Thursday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza was the chief guest of the event.
Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, was also in presence.

A total of 139 aviation cadets, 08 gentleman cadets and 02 naval cadets graduated during the ceremony.

Among the distinguished graduates, several cadets were recognized for their exceptional performance:

Aviation Cadet Sports Sergeant Imran Raza received the prestigious Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Trophy for the top performance in General Service Training.

Aviation Cadet Usman Rasheed was awarded the trophy for outstanding achievement in the Combat Support Course.

Aviation Cadet Sergeant Haseeb Abdul Malik was presented with the Chief of the Air Staff Trophy for his excellence in the Air Defence Course.

Pakistan Naval Cadet Sergeant Hafiz Ali Asad was honoured with the Sword of Honour for his stellar performance at the College of Aeronautical Engineering.

Academy Under Officer Abdullah Saad Ali, an Aviation Cadet, earned the Sword of Honour for his exceptional performance at the College of Flying Training.

Addressing the ceremony, the CJCSC congratulated the graduates commending their hard work and the unwavering support of their families.

The event was highlighted by a thrilling aerobatic display by the PAF Academy's elite "Sherdils" team, followed by a breathtaking formation flight featuring the PAF’s fleet of Mirage, F-16, JF-17, and J-10C fighter jets.

This remarkable display underscored the Pakistan Air Force’s operational proficiency and technological capabilities.

The ceremony was attended by numerous high-ranking military and civilian officials, along with the proud families of the cadets, all of whom witnessed this momentous occasion as the graduates prepared to take on the challenges of their military careers.
