Peshawar (Staff Report): Pak-Afghan Torkham Border will remain operational round the clock from August.
According to District Administration Khyber, the decision to make the border operational for 24 hours was to promote bilateral and transit trade activities. He said necessary arrangements regarding the decision have almost been completed.
The government has also decided to open seven more gates on Pak-Afghan border in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It is pertinent to mention here, Prime Minister Imran Khan has issued orders to make the border functional round the clock for boosting trade with Afghanistan.
