Lahore (Web Desk): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former premier Nawaz Sharif also celebrated Basant in Lahore.
He visited the house of a friend near Sultan Tipu Building, Musti Gate in the inner city, where he sat on the roof to enjoy the view of flying kites. On this occasion, Nawaz Sharif also held the kite string and gadda (kite reel).
Other PML-N leaders, including Sheikh Rohail Asghar, Khurram Butt, and Ahsan Dar, were also present with him.
It is worth noting that the festivities of Basant in Lahore are at their peak, with the second day of the Basant Festival also witnessing hustle and bustle in the city as citizens celebrate the occasion.
