Mumbai (Web Desk): Bollywood actor Imran Khan has called for the three biggest stars of the industry—Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan—to adapt their roles to align with the tastes of the younger generation.
In a recent interview, the 43-year-old actor pointed out that these three stars have dominated Bollywood for over three decades. However, he stressed that it’s now time for them to evolve their characters, as the younger audience no longer finds a 70-year-old actor portraying a hero convincing.
Imran Khan explained that after a certain age, the role of a central hero no longer appeals to the youth. He added that younger audiences connect more with stories and characters that reflect their own age and life experiences.
He further stated that the shift in the film industry is natural, and while the Khans’ fame and legacy are unmatched, it is inevitable that their roles and stardom need to change as they age.
Imran suggested that the Khans should now consider stepping into supporting or varied roles instead of continuing to play lead characters, as this shift would help them better connect with today’s audience.
This statement comes at a time when the Khans are facing mixed results at the box office, reflecting the changing preferences of viewers.
