Lahore (Web Desk): The Punjab government has announced the launch of the ‘Karobar Card’ initiative to support and encourage small businesses across the region.
The decision was finalised in a meeting held in Lahore on Saturday, chaired by Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz.
Through this scheme, loans ranging from 100,000 to Rs1 million will be provided to small entrepreneurs.
In addition to the Karobar Card, the ‘Chief Minister Aasan Karobar Financing Scheme’ was also approved for medium-sized businesses.
Under this scheme, loans of up to Rs30 million will be available, with a repayment period of five years.
CM Maryam Nawaz highlighted that these financial schemes are designed to boost employment opportunities and foster the growth of both business and industrial sectors in the province.
