Turkiye President Erdogan in KSA for talks with Saudi Crown Prince, Pakistan PM

Jeddah (Web Desk): Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Saudi Arabia on Friday for a one-day official visit, where he is scheduled to hold key meetings with the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

President Erdogan’s aircraft landed at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, where he was received by Makkah Region Deputy Governor Prince Mishaal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Turkiye’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Emrullah Isler and Turkish Consul General in Jeddah Mustafa Onal and other officials.

After the arrival, President Erdogan departed for the holy city of Makkah by road.

According to sources, Erdogan will meet Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman as well as Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his visit.

The talks are likely to focus on bilateral relations among Pakistan, Turkiye and Saudi Arabia, regional peace and security, defence cooperation and the evolving situation in the Middle East.
