Pakistan, Turkey reaffirm strengthening defense cooperation

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif met with Turkey’s Vice Chief of General Staff General Levent Ergün to discuss ways to further enhance defense and military cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, both leaders reviewed various aspects of bilateral relations and emphasized the importance of joint efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.

Khawaja Asif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to its longstanding brotherly ties with Turkey and highlighted the strategic importance of this partnership.

He also appreciated the growing cooperation in defense, military training, and the defense industry, noting that it not only strengthens the countries’ defense capabilities but also builds mutual trust.

On the occasion, both sides expressed their determination to continue joint initiatives to elevate Pakistan-Turkey defense cooperation to new heights and further solidify their partnership.
