Tehran / Gaza: Tensions in the Middle East have escalated to a perilous new level as the United States and Israel launched a coordinated military strike against Iran.
The air raids targeted multiple Iranian cities and military bases, resulting in significant casualties and widespread material damage.
According to reports, Israeli and US aircraft struck a total of 12 cities across Iran, with three major airbases hit during the operation.
Authorities claim that dozens of Iranian fighter jets and helicopters were destroyed in these assaults. So far, at least 34 people, including children, have been reported killed.
Tehran’s prominent Sharif University of Technology also suffered heavy damage during the attacks.
This direct assault on Iran has raised the risk of a broader regional conflict.
The international community has expressed deep concern over the attacks, while Tehran has signaled the potential for a significant retaliatory response at any moment.
Meanwhile, Israel also intensified its military aggression in Gaza. The Israeli military targeted the Maghazi refugee camp, leaving 10 Palestinians dead and many more injured.
The attacks on refugee camps have created severe challenges in transporting the wounded to hospitals.
