Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan's Haider Ali has won bronze medal in Paris Paralympics Discus Throw event.

Haider set a throw of 52.54 metres.

Uzbekistan's Toliboy Yuldashev won gold medal with a throw of 53.48 metres.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated Pakistani athlete Haider Ali on winning the bronze medal in discus throw at the Paris Paralympics 2024.

In a post on social media platform X, he said Haider Ali's courage and determination are a source of inspiration for the entire nation.

The prime minister wished Haider Ali the very best.

Meanwhile, China is leading the medals table of Paralympics with 169 medals including 74 gold.

Great Britain is at second place with 87 medals including 38 gold while the United States is at third place with 79 medals including 27 gold medals.
